Tennis elbow? Some years back, my husband had a steroid injection for Tennis Elbow. Apparently his father had the same. Both found this to be a permanent cure. My mother had 2 steroid injections for Tennis Elbow but despite relief for a while, the symptoms returned and she had to have a tendon release operation. It completely freed her from pain but affected her fine manual dexterity. Recently, I got tennis elbow and had a steroid injection. My doctor said I had a choice of that or an operation. The injection eased the symptoms, but now they are gradually coming back. I don't want a tendon release operation if it affects my manual dexterity as I am a touch-typist and a pianist. My doctor said I can only have one more injection then the only choice is an operation. Snould I put up with the mild pain and delay my second chance of an injection until absolutely necessary?

Athlete How to Cure Tennis Elbow? I tried researching how to cure tennis elbow, but pretty much all I found were ways to help subdue the pain or discomfort by icing it or what not. Unfortunately life has put me in the situation where I do not have insurance so going to a Physcial Therapist is not that practical at the moment. Does anyone recall what they have done , such as stretching certain ways, strength training on the elbow/arm a certain way? Of course the last thing I want to do is negatively impact healing by just tearing the elbow up more but I have a high tolerance for pain so I can handle it if I have to do some type of strength training. From what I read I really don't want to be out 6 months until it resolves itself, surely there must be something more practical in my situation. *note, i got this from cycling by using the drop bars too much and not switching up more often so my elbow took a beating and I am paying the price now!

Does anyone know of a quick cure for tennis elbow? I've had it for months and don't even know how I got it! I've read that it comes from repeated overuse of your arm but I do not do anything that I can think of that would strain it. In any event, I've tried ice packs, Aleve, Arnica, massage, elevating it, etc. which all work-- but only temporarily. I keep hoping it will go away on its own (just like it came) but I'm losing patience. When my chiropractor works on my shoulder, I can feel pain in my elbow so am wondering if it's my shoulder that's been pushed out of place via an adjustment. I also have a brace under my elbow when I play Badminton. It absorbs the tension....it helps but the pain still there. I appreciate if you can share with me how you cure your tennis elbow. Tennis elbow... how to cure.? I was an active pitcher/shortstop on my baseball team, and I had to constantly make a lot of long hard throws every game. Then my arm went, and it started hurting a lot sort of where my funny bone is. I am sure it is a tennis elbow because I have asked my doctor, and he x-rayed my arm and it was fine, and the muscles are fine, and my arm just annoyingly hurts. How do I fix this arm so I can get back to baseball? I have not played or thrown a ball in 3 months and whenever I try, my arm hurts like hell.

It is impossible, even house choirs aggravate it, so I kinda gave up. then I built a room addition on the house like an idiot. I didn't get the help I was counting on. Now am paying the price. I know you shouldn't use your wrist and forearm too much, that is bad. I finished the work, and now I am typing a lot too much. I know I shouldn't but like to. I bought a wrist pad thing for the keyboard. that made my typing even slower. lol because of the height or something. I feel like putting a sling on my arm and screwing all choirs!! I can't even get a carpenter job because it will never get better. all the specialist say I do not need surgery, I had an MRI for Elbow specialist to see. and then he finally says, okay maybe a little exercise will help. and I feel this like bump/muscle when my arm is tight against my chest. other arm is normal, no bump.

Has anyone ever had tendonitis (tennis elbow) and had a complete cure? I had it real bad in November and went on Worker's Comp. for 2 weeks before the meds (Naproxen - an anti-inflammatory) started working. What medical specialist cares for arm/elbow muscle problems? My husband has been having serious, debilitating pain in his right arm for the past month. Doc thought it was tennis elbow at first but MRI came back negative for any damage. Also did not see any fractures, tears, etc - MRI was perfect. Doctor just keeps handing out different inflammatories, pain meds, and muscle relaxers. But nothing is helping. In fact the pain is worse, if anything. Orthopedic HELP NEEDED! Please tell me what this can be so I can bring it up to my ignorant doctor? I have been suffering from tendinitis and tennis elbow of the forearms and elbows for over 3 years off and on, but mostly on. Everything I do to heal it seems to be only a temporary fix and it always returns, always...I've done physical therapy, cortisone injections, surgery, rest from work, you name it. I even paid some shmuck $35.00 online for information on how to heal it but it was only illustrations of the exercises that I already do at therapy. My elbows also hurt INSIDE the joint. I am totally beside myself and need help. I have asked for an MRI to hopefully reveal the problem but have gotten denied. I am in the process of trying to find a doctor that will approve one, but doesn anyone know what this is? I am willing to do anything to permanently cure this condition. I believe that there is a solution for everything and that it only needs to be found. Someone out there must know what is wrong with me or have somewhat of an idea so that I can research it further. Help! This is a workers comp injury from 2004 and it is difficult to find a doctor that will take it. I know you are going to tell me to just find a new doctor but it isn't that easy. I just want to know what this could be so I can bring it up to my present doctor.

I've got red bumps on my arms after exercising.? When I did marching and now when I play tennis, I get these red groups of bumps on my arms that looks like hives or a break out of something.
