Balance Physical Therapy

Is massage therapy or physiotherapy better?

What is a better career, massage therapy or physiotherapy? I know it is sort of subjective, but nevertheless i really want to know what people think.

  1. Physical therapy requires far more schooling than massage therapy does. In the US, more PT programs are about 7 years long, including undergraduate studies. It's basically a doctorate. Massage is a good way to get into PT, and if that is the route you are interested in, many PT clinics have massage therapists on staff. You can also study massage first, get your license and start working, and go back to PT school while gaining hands-on working experience and earning a living.
